Content and structure elements

Scope and content

The records in this collection consist of advertisements, books, magazines, newsclippings, newsletters, photographs, programs, and other publications such as theatrical playbills and posters.

Inclusive subjects and description of processing procedures provided by M. Dawson and L. Brown circa 1993.

System of arrangement

The records and memorabilia in this collection arrived in excellent condition! The items were arranged in an orderly fashion and were completely identified. Mr. Nash must be commended for his professionalism in listing and preserving this special material. The archivist added more detailed descriptions to some of the records, especially autographed and rare materials. The items were then grouped by material and subject types. The records were repackaged in acid-free folders and filed in alphabetical and chronological orders. Finally, the collection was stored in acid-free and fire-proof boxes, and appropriate box labels were affixed.
