Box 16 - Rosewood Massacre

Box 16 contains materials from the Rosewood Massacre Collection dating from 1994 and is arranged by audiovisual format and subject. The folders primarily consist of video recordings and cassette tapes documenting interviews, testimonies, and related media connected to the Rosewood Massacre and its survivors.

This box includes folders such as Administrative Files: Miscellaneous VCR Tapes (4 tapes); VHS recordings; and cassette tapes labeled “Sarah Logan Woodward,” “Interviews,” “Wand, Martin,” and “Estella Dailey – Lucille/Nimbush/George Davis,” among others.

Records found within these folders include, but are not limited to, VHS tapes containing recorded footage related to Rosewood; cassette tapes featuring interviews with survivors, descendants, and associated individuals; and audiovisual documentation capturing oral histories, testimonies, and discussions relevant to the Rosewood Claims process.

Collectively, these materials preserve important audiovisual evidence and firsthand accounts that contribute to the historical record of the Rosewood Massacre, offering insight into personal narratives, community memory, and the documentation of survivor experiences.
