Records found within these folders include, but are not limited to, genealogy charts tracing Rosewood family lineages; family trees and compiled genealogy booklets; correspondence and fax cover sheets between claimants and representatives such as Frank M. Beisler and Gregory Esquire; memoranda and transmittal reports; vital records including birth and death certificates; affidavits and property affidavits; claims documentation such as Rosewood Claims Bill checklists, notes, and claims information forms; legal notices; and supporting documents used to establish lineage and eligibility for compensation.
Collectively, these materials provide extensive genealogical documentation and claimant records that were essential to verifying family connections to Rosewood survivors, illustrating the role of lineage research and legal documentation in the claims process.
